I was born on the 25th of May in one of the busiest cities of India – Bombay a.k.a Mumbai. I lived there for about 6 years with my two elder sisters when my dad suddenly got transferred to Vellore, Tamil Nadu. I did my schooling in “Siddhartha Senior Secondary School, CBSE”, Vellore until Grade 2.
Since my younger sister got admission in one of the best institutions in India “Indian Institute of Technology”, Chennai and I too becoming notorious, Dad planned of shifting to Madras now Chennai one of the most prime locations of India. Few weeks later, I got my admission in one of the most prestigious schools of Chennai “P S Senior Secondary School, CBSE” where I did my schooling from Grade 3 to Grade 10. My elder sister soon got married and went to God's own Land - The state of Kerala. She had just finished her Masters of Commerce and was planning to start her Chartered Accountant (Final). Two years later dad retired from Indian Bank as Assistant General Manager. My younger sister too flew to IIT Delhi to do her Masters of Technology after the completion of her Masters of Science in IIT Chennai. I was with my mom, dad and grandma who pampered me a lot by telling short stories to make me fast asleep. I really miss you Grandma! My younger sister too got married and went to do her Ph.D. to USA when I was in Grade 7.
I joined “Gill Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary School, State Board” to do my XI and XII. Though I cleared Grade XII in distinction, I was struggling to get admission in top colleges in Chennai due to the “Reservation Quota”. I entered many colleges in many parts of Tamil Nadu but my marks were not considered instead money. One fine day I came to know from one of the newspapers that a start-up college was seeking admissions for XII candidates. I immediately rushed to the college to enquire about the infrastructure. Since it is a Start-up college I could not expect more. I joined the same. It is Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College, the one and only Engineering College in the heart of Chennai. I am proud to say that I belong to the First Batch of my college. I did my Computer Science Engineering. After 4 years of my graduation I found myself recruited by Hexaware Technologies Limited, Chennai, through campus recruitment programme where my professional life started as a Software Engineer.
